Cyclic and dynamic tests

Cyclic and dynamic tests are used to define input parameters for seismic site response studies and soil structure interaction and specifically the modulus reduction and damping curves that describe soil response at different strain levels.

In our lab, the following equipment is avalailable to this aim:

- Resonant column

- Cyclic Torsional Shear

- Cyclic Simple Shear

The experimental tests conducted over the years for different research projects have been recently compiled in publicly available database
